iTowns is an open-source library that enables developers to integrate 3D geospatial data visualisation and mapping features into web applications. Built with JavaScript and WebGL, iTowns is able to process and display both 2D and 3D geographic data. This includes data formats like LiDAR point clouds, 3D models, 3DTiles, 2D OGC formats, which can be visualised simultaneously in an interactive 3D environment.

Whether it’s visualising terrain, urban models, or detailed geospatial datasets, iTowns offers a flexible and easy-to-use solution for creating dynamic web-based geographic applications.

The project is the result of a collaboration between public institutions and private partners. As an open-source project, iTowns benefits from a diverse and growing community of contributors, which helps ensure continuous improvement and the addition of new features.
