Open Source Geospatial Lab BMU

The vision behind setting up “Open Source Geospatial lab BMU” is to make geospatial education and opportunities accessible to all. We are initiating this lab in line with the OSGeo/ICA Memorandum of Understanding, which supports the development of Open Source Geospatial software technologies, training, and expertise. The lab will be operated by the faculty of the School of Engineering and Technology in association with strongly connected partners across the country. Prof. Manoj Kumar Arora, Vice-chancellor of BMU, and also an expert and the leading professional in the area of Geomatics, steers this initiative. Through this Open Source Geospatial lab, we will provide training, education, and support for using and developing Open Source Geospatial tools.
