Biography
GIS Consultant and specialist in open-source geospatial solutions and territorial management. I am passionate about GIS technologies and community-driven initiatives, with a core focus on QGIS, data modeling, geoprocessing, and training. After over a decade directing GIS projects at Geodata Sistemas, I founded PSIG in 2011 to advise, structure, and implement GIS as an essential territorial management tool.
I am deeply involved in the open-source community, having served 4 years as President of the Spanish QGIS Association (Asociación QGIS España) before stepping into the role of Treasurer in 2025. Over the course of my 25+ year career, I have coordinated and executed hundreds of GIS projects, taught in two GIS master’s programs, and led dozens of training courses to promote open GIS standards and empower users.
