Biography
I am a researcher in the Geoinformation and Applied Geography (GAG) team at the Institute for Environmental Management and Spatial Planning (IGEAT), where I also co-cordinate and teach in the 6-month training course in cartography and GIS using free and open-source software, particularly aimed at professionals in the global south. I have contributed to the development of GRASS plugin (r.area.createweight). I am part of OSGeo-Belgium, with whom I co-organise FOSS4G-Belgium.
