Geographer | Master & Ph.D. in Urban Engineering
Consultant, senior researcher at UnB and professor in post-graduate programs, the Geographer Abimael Cereda Junior connects geoinformation to decision-making in the private and public sectors.
Specialist in GIS and Geoinformation, for 25 years he has been structuring Geographic Intelligence operations – from an operational tool to a strategic decision asset – such as for the World Bank, Sabesp, CPFL, Ministry of Social Development, and UNDP. He formulates technological maturity assessments and critical computational infrastructures for decision-making, such as the Amazon Regional Observatory (ORA/OTCA).
He acts directly in Territorial Digital Transformation applied to Agribusiness, Government Planning and Management, and Smart Cities, being the founder of Geografia das Coisas® (Geography of Things).
Nominated as “Personality of the Year” and “Professional of the Year” at the MundoGEO Connect Awards and recognized with the CREA-SP Professional Training Award, he shares his experience in innovation ecosystems as a mentor at the AgTech Garage and Supera Parque hubs.
