The changes brought by this version include :
- A new application FastNLMeans, an implementation of the NL Means smooting algorithm. The gaussian mode of the Smoothing application also have additionnal parameters (maxerror and maxwidth).
- Applications with several output images (e.g. FineRegistration or DimensionalityReduction now support multi-writing: instead of computing and writing each image independently, the streamed image blocks are written in a synchronous way for each output, saving computation time. this behavior can be deactivated using the &multiwrite extended filename.
- In Superbuild and binary packages, GDAL version has been upgraded to 3.0.2, PROJ version to 6.2.1, openjpeg to 2.3.0, geos to 3.6.1 and netcdf to 4.7.3. Support for openCV 2.X has been removed.
