Biography
Tim is:
* the former QGIS Board Chair,
* Honourary QGIS PSC member,
* co-founder and Director of Kartoza.
He has been a participant of the QGIS Project since 2003 where he has been a key proponent in the growth and development of the project into the successful and popular desktop GIS application that it is today. A resident of Portugal and formerly of South Africa, Tim is involved in the OSGEO-Africa chapter and was on the LOC for the 2008 FOSS4G event in Cape Town, South Africa and the 2018 FOSS4G event in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Tim is also an active participant in the Portuguese QGIS User Group, having moved to Portugal in 2019
