My MissionPromote the development and use of Open Source Software, especially spatial
I am a computer engineer specialized in Geographic Information Systems. I worked at the Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia (the national mapping agency of Catalonia) for 15 years developing web applications with maps for various projects. Then I worked in an American startup called Tierra as a frontend developer. Now I work as Developers advocate for digital maps at MapTiler.
I’m a firm believer in the open movement whether it is software, data, or knowledge; that is why I‘m a member of the Spanish OSGeo community and OpenStreetMap.
In my spare time, I like outdoor activities, mainly rock climbing. If you are in Barcelona or Catalonia and need a climbing partner, you can contact me.
