My MissionTo promote usage of opesource GIS softwares under the umbrella of OSGEO.
I have been a OSGEO member since 2015. Although I haven’t done any active participation since that year (save for those times when I voted ), I intend now to pay more attention to the goals and direction of OSGEO which I am proudly a charter member. Since 2015 though, I have been busy promoting the usage of QGIS here in my country. Not only that, It is the main software I am using for all the projects I’m currently involved. My mission therefore is to promote opensource GIS softwares that OSGEO supports and to provide training for it (which I do in a university for which I am a part time instructor).
