Biography
I am a Tenure Track Assistant Professor at the Integrated Research on Energy, Environment and Society group (IREES), within Energy and Sustainability Research Institute Groningen (ESRIG). I hold a Ph.D. in Physics and my current research focuses on “The Role of Energy System Modeling and Open Science: Exploring Local and Sector-Specific Solutions, Strategies, and Environmental Impacts”. I have a focus on Geographic Information System (GIS) and Open Science and how they can be used in the context of energy system modelling to help with the energy transition.
