My Mission

Strength the OpenStreetMap community of Colombia and Latam, by mapping, improving the data, spreading the word, and organizing events.

Biography

I am a collaborative cartographer and community organizer based in Colombia, deeply committed to the growth of open geospatial ecosystems across Latin America. As a long-time OpenStreetMap contributor, I’ve helped strengthen the Latam mapping community through inclusive events, technical outreach, and strategic coordination.

I am one of the founders and current legal representative of the Associations of Collaborative Cartography of Colombia (AC3), a nonprofit dedicated to promoting open geospatial data, education, and participatory mapping. Through AC3, I’ve led national and regional initiatives that connect grassroots mappers, educators, and institutions.

I’ve served as lead organizer and secretary for multiple editions of State of the Map Latam, helping shape the event’s vision, logistics, and outreach.

I believe in the power of open geospatial tools to foster education, equity, and collaboration. I’m excited to continue building bridges between communities and technologies through OSGeo.
