The Open Source Geospatial Foundation is pleased to announce the results
of the election to fill the four remaining seats on the OSGeo Board of
Directors. This election is another significant step in the development
of OSGeo. As many members of the community stated, the slate of nominees
was extremely strong and it was a difficult task to choose from among
them.
With 97% of the OSGeo voting membership submitting ballots, the
following persons have been elected to the board:
- Mark Lucas
- Dave McIllhagga
- Venkatesh Raghavan
- Jo Walsh
OSGeo would like to thank all of the members of the community for their
participation in this process, and we especially thank all of the
candidates for their willingness to volunteer their time and effort to
the Foundation.
